Willsbro 3 calves in Final Championship Lineup!
Willsbro enjoyed a successful day at the recent National Calf Show final held at Stoneleigh. Around 500 calves filled the Stoneleigh Park cattle lines, watched by a sizeable crowd from all over the UK. Representing the Cornwall club, Willsbro had 3 calves in the final championship line up, which this year was judged by David Crack of Canada.
Pictured above and winning the class for calves born between 01-12-08 and 31-01-09 was Willsbro Minister Verbena, sired by Mr Minister and bred from 9 generations of VG or Ex dams, her dam is a promising VG-86 2yr old daughter of Picston Shottle.
Coming a close 2nd in the class for calves born between 01-10-08 and 30-11-08 was the extremely stylish Karona Bonair daughter- Willsbro Zandra Bonair, from Ocean-View Zenith’s full sister- A.D.I Durham Zandra. Finally coming 2nd again in the eldest class and born between 01-04-08 and 31-05-08 was Willsbro Goldwyn Romance, a daughter of the 2008 European Dairy Farming Event Champion Riverdane Astro Romance EX 2nd calf.
