Willsbro 2010 Sale Details Announced
Wednesday 14th April will witness a host of world renowned names come under the hammer, as the Wills family stage the first sale from their noted and prizewinning Willsbro herd.
Taking place on Tuesday 13th April, will be an Open House at Pawton Dairy, where you will be invited to view the facilities and 1000 cow herd at Willsbro, this will then be followed by a Sale Preview, and Cheese and Wine reception where the Willsbro sale cattle will be available for viewing.
Special Hotel Rates have been negotiated at nearby Newquay hotels, and for those interested a 3-course dinner has been arranged on Tuesday evening at the Hotel Bristol. (see below for details) Early reservations are recommended as places are quickly filling up.
Having invested in many of the world’s leading Holstein cow families over the past few years, the herd now possibly comprises one of the best selection of genetics to be found anywhere in the world today.
Leading ladies of the global Holstein breed will be represented in the sale, as family members from world renowned names like; Wabash-Way Emilyann VG-88 2yr, Lavender Ruby Redrose EX-96, Lylehaven Lila Z EX-94, Savage-Leigh Licorice EX-92, Windy-Knoll-View Pammy EX-92, Fradon Encount Jodie EX-94, and Idee Lustre EX-95, will all sell.
In addition some of the UK’s most successful type and production cow families will feature in the sale, Beauty, Marie, Oralie, Roxy, Rapture, Rachel, Vaakje, the list is endless and several from the Willsbro Show team will be offered. Daughters of All- Britain nominees Smiddiehill Goldwyn Sharon VG-88 2yr and Riverdane Outside Hazel EX-93, and also from Ridgefield Shottle Ghost VG-88 2yr- one of Europe’s highest genomic tested females at +2268!.
With a selection of world class and exceptionally well bred milking cattle, heifers and calves, and indeed a group of exceptional bulls ready for service, there really will be something to suit every budget and meet every need.

8.30pm Optional 3-Course Dinner at the Hotel BristolFollowed by guest speaker Brain Carscadden
